Hanger Bolts Hanger bolts have a 1/4" machine thread one end and a wood screw thread on the other. They are great for knock down furniture and fixtures they allow you to have a permanent screw in the timber with a metal thread protruding. Hanger Bolts Finish Sizes Steel 1/4" x 62mm(2-1/4")   Tee Nuts Sheet metal "Tee" nuts are used to put a metal thread into timber. They have four barbed tangs to hold them securely in place. Large base   Concrete Screws Designed to screw into concrete they are far better than sleeved bolts. Simply drill a 3/16" hole and screw them in. They have a pull out load of 750 kg in 4000 psi concrete Concrete Screws Finish Sizes Steel 1/4" x 56mm(2-2/4") & 100 mm (4")   Table Top Fasteners Table top fasteners are simple stamped metal clips which are used to secure table tops to rails. If a table top is simply screwed to the frame or rails it is locked to the rails and cannot “breathe” with variations in climate. Since there is often no room to move that expansion and contraction must go somewhere and if often causes splitting. When table top fasteners are used there is the ability to move and splitting is avoided.  To use these clips you simple cut a slot in the rail about 5mm wide and 10-12mm from the top of the rail.  The tip of the clip is inserted into the slot and the clip screwed to the underside of the rail.  The clips accept any #8, #10 or #12 gauge flat head (countersunk) screw.  They are finished in yellow zinc plating. They are available in packs of 25 or 100.  They are slightly thicker than the earlier versions we had available but work in exactly the same manner.
